Hi, I’m Keith! Lovely to meet you.

Recently praised by AudioFile for a “captivating performance,” I’m a full-time SAG-AFTRA audiobook narrator and voice actor. I specialize in romance as well as the languages and accents of Central and Eastern Europe, including audiobook-fluent German, Russian, Italian, and French. (And I'm always surprised how often my years of Latin studies come in handy!)

I’ve been performing my entire life, spending a decade as an instrumentalist until a life-changing high school production of Les Miserables awakened my passion for theater. (Funny story: I auditioned for Javert but won the role of Valjean!) This led me to conservatory training and a nearly ten-year career as an opera singer and actor. I'm a former first-place winner of the American Prize in Vocal Performance, and Opera News once praised me for my “warm bass-baritone” and for performances “inflected with fine rubato.” I appeared at Carnegie Hall and traveled around the US and abroad, cultivating my natural ear for language, my love of artistic collaboration, and the extraordinary stamina and vocal control that the life of a narrator demands.

I’ve also worn several hats as an educator, having taught diction and opera history at Interlochen’s Summer Arts Camp as well as co-directing opera scenes. I I even once had a job which involved teaching overseas research sites to use ECG equipment... in Italian, French, and German.

As a former on-air talent at Interlochen Public Radio, I hosted international broadcasts of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, and created and executive-produced the acclaimed weekly program GAMEPLAY, an exploration of the music of video games heard on NPR stations all over the US. I interviewed artists including multiple-Emmy winning composer Laura Karpman (Ms. Marvel, Captain America: Brave New World), screen and game music legend Garry Schyman (The A-Team, BioShock), and even Rockapella.

Outside of working on the mic, I'm a lifelong gamer, anime fan, and musical omnivore, and love reading fantasy, science fiction, and history.
